Marie2rob, that speedtest is great. it is from speedtest.net, they allow it to be embedded. I added that because its really good for detecting an unstable connection too. If sites take a long time to load or time out alot, if the speedtests needle flickers alot during the test that could be because your provider has lowered your noise margin to attain a higher line rate...
It's a trade off, speed over stability, they can fix that for you if you give them a call...
