I am having problem with the registration of a new board I have just installed 10.3.6

• Human registration does not work - although I have installed GD...
  
• I then disabled it and set registration to 'must validate through email' option.

paste that back into settings.pl that should work.

As for the human verification, You can just enable it by ticking a box in the settings panel, But you'd have to have make sure you have the nessesary GD module installed, If you don't, download it from the attached and upload in ANSII to your forum folder. Then try enabling it in settings.

However Human verification still the same problem

I have followed your instuctions and uploaded GD however when I try to register the part that should display the funy fonts comes up as a bear table with a message saying "Could not find/open font" Which I figured were 2 files siting in a folder 'Random' in 'blahdocs'

those 2 files are in there...(blahdocs/Random)

Upload the attached font.tff to your prefs directory and CHMOD the random directory to 777. If that doesn't work, then i'm outta ideas..

I was wondering are there other fonts somewhere to download? or is that the only option we have?

Those are true type fonts, So i'm sure you could just download any standard true type fonts and upload them where you put the one i attached. I think...  

There's nothing special about the fonts though, you could use any, it's the GD:Image module that corrupts the charactors so they're hard to read.. So any font.ttf you like should do..
