Registered as a new member to test forum.

I have the Mail Setup as SMTP, mainly because I don't know the location of SendMail on this new server.

I received notification of a new member in my administrator's email account, but I never received the confirmation email.

I tried again using a different member email address, and got this:

Net::SMTP Error
Can't call method "mail" on an undefined value at (eval 3) line 5.

This error logged for security and stability sake etc. etc.

I went back to the original member email address and got the same error.

So...

1. In the first try, if it was able to send mail to me as administrator, what happened to the confirmation?
2. It partially worked the first time, why not now?

Matt

Same thing happened again today.

Followed previous steps exactly, achieved same results exactly.

Any help?
