I had a lot of mails, sent via E-Blah, ending up in users Spam-cans    (my angry-smiley mod still not used here, I see )
There have been a few posts about this over the last couple of years/months and I noticed Martin even mention the problem on his test site...

So here is a mod that I believe fixes the problem.
The problem was that E-Blah was relying on the ISP's mail-server to add a "DATE" field.  This is not a problem for many ISP's, but some don't add the "DATE" field and the stricter Spam checkers will err on the side of caution and reject the mail.
Unfortunately, due to the random nature of the problem, I can only say "I think" this has fixed the problem for me.  As a lot of users never complain about missing notification emails, or just don't realise they're missing mails, it's difficult to be 100% certain that the problem has gone.  But I am 99.9% sure it's fixed for me.

Can you add this through GitHub and send a pull request? I'd like to check it out.

I'm not sure this would change anything, though anything's possible.

Could you modify it a little to use localtime instead of poxis? Would rather not have to require more modules if it isn't needed.
