Here is the Stop Forum Spam Mod, done (and here with permission) by Martin

It is vital that you get a key so you can contribute to the data base, should you get a sleeper/troll/spoof http://www.stopforumspam.com

Sadly this mod is no longer supported as Martin is longer with E-Blah

This is a must have if you are getting hit with spoof/sleepers or trolls

For installation instructions see this thread -->> http://www.eblah.com/forum/m-1345820707.27753/s-21/#num21

You also need to register at http://www.stopforumspam.com to get your key, and it is also VITAL to feed into the spam data base with any registrations you get

Thank you Apollo for the instructions and I have also copied them below

---

Assuming you have FTP, upload it into the cgi-bin/forum/Mods directory.

Make sure this is done in ascii.

Make sure you have a backup of your forum, just in case

Then got the the Modification Center in your forum control panel.

The module should be listed.

Run a test install - check for any reported errors!

Ask in here if there are, and you do not understand.

Assuming all is well, click on install.

Done.

As per your other post on the same thing - ensure you go into the various forum settings in your control panel, and activate the SFS options.

Nothing will appear to be happening if you do not turn on the various option offered.
